The floating barista is responsible for covering shifts as needed at the coffee shop on their assigned day (Saturdays).
Shifts may fall anywhere between 6:

Candidates are able to pick up coverage shifts as they may become available, and must be available for these shifts year-round to be considered.
Responsibilities:
Greeting each guest in a courteous way and ensuring they receive the products they want.
Successfully utilize and maintain an espresso machine, grinders, and other brewing methods.
Preparing Espresso, a variety of coffee drinks, beverages, and pasteries for each guest.
Maintaining a clean work station at all times.
Demonstrate the ability to maintain a positive, work environment through attitude, leadership and motivation.
Cleaning and preparing the caf to maintain an energetic and clean workspace.
Completing all opening responsibilities to expectation.
Accurate coffee knowledge communication to guests.
Looking for service opportunities, making guests feel special.
Successfully ensures each transaction is correct.
Tasting espressos throughout service and ensuring that all coffees are dialed according to flavor and recipe.
Pursuing professionalism in all aspects of the job.
Qualifications Must be atleast 16 years old.
Barista experience preferred.
Willingness to have a flexible schedule.
Ability to operate with energy and urgency 5
hours a day.
Demonstrating passion and enthusiasm for coffee.
Executing customer service in a personal and professional manner with our guests and team members.
Providing strong attention to detail and healthy respect for cleanliness and sanitation.
Genuining strives to leave our guest better than you found them.
Understanding of coffee shops and specialty retail.
Desiring to educate others about our coffee and espresso methods.
Providing strong attention to detail and healthy respect for cleanliness and sanitation.
Willingness to learn new skills, open to feedback and constantly striving to improve.
Detail-oriented and the ability to multi-task with ease.
